Kayalulu is a ski learning platform, serving both ski learners and instructors/coaches. The platform has the following components:
K-Learning: It has three sections: (1) fundamentals which include drills for all ski learners; (2) racing techniques and tactics; and (3) special topics for both recreational skiers and ski racers, such as “from wedge to parallel”, “carving”, “ice”, “course inspection”, etc. No registration is needed for using K-Learning.
K-Blog: It includes short articles on ski learning, usually less technical than topics covered in K-Learning. Registered members are welcome to submit your posts.
K-Community: Unlike general social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, Kayalulu solely focuses on ski learning. You will automatically join K-Community when you register. By default, you can only see your own profile. If you want to interact with your friends/students, you can create a group name during registration and then create a group in this name on K-Community; everyone who chooses this name during registration will be automatically assigned to this group.
Racing Coaches. You can build a learning group (or multiple groups) with your students on K-Community and upload files such as training plans, videos, and pictures. You can also use the group forum function for tech talks.
Ski Instructors. Client retention rests on connections. Spending a bit time interacting with your students after a lesson (e.g., provide feedback, answer questions) could be rewarding in the long run. Skiers often request private lessons with an instructor whom they trust. You can build learning groups with your students on K-Community. You may put all students in one group, or create multiple groups based on certain criteria (e.g., levels of skiing).
“Learn-It-Yourself” (LIY) Skiers. You can build your own ski learning group on K-Community in which you can comment on each other’s videos and discuss ski learning in group forums.
Feel free to contact us at email@example.com if you have any questions. Enjoy Kayalulu.
